Adolescent Therapy 12+

Adolescence can be a challenging time filled with emotional, social, and academic pressures. I work with teens to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, bullying, emotional regulation, and identity development, while also partnering with caregivers to strengthen communication, understanding, and connection.

I use Collaborative Problem Solving~ A trauma informed modality that emphasizes the root causes of challenging behaviors and collaboratively finding solutions with teens. Dr. Ross Green developed CPS to help children and teens develop essential skills such as cognitive flexibility, frustration tolerance, and problem-solving abilities.  Using empathy and understanding, CPS encourages adults to seek a deeper sense of compassion for their child. CPS is helpful for children/adolescents diagnosed with oppositional defiance, conduct disorder, ADHD, mood disturbances, bipolar and autism spectrum.

Trauma, Anxiety & Mood Support

I support teens and adults who are navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. Using a trauma-informed and relational approach, I help clients build coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and develop a stronger sense of safety, resilience, and self-love.

Life transitions and Identity Support

Life transitions—whether entering adolescence, young adulthood, or navigating changes in roles, relationships, or career—can bring uncertainty and stress. I work with individual adults and teens to explore identity, clarify values, and build confidence as they move through change with greater insight and balance.

Bio

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports adolescents (ages 12 and up) and individual adults through life’s challenges and transitions. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and have a background in applied psychology and sociology. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and strengths-based.

My work focuses on helping teens and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, bullying, emotional regulation, and identity exploration. With teens, I collaborate closely with caregivers to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and better understand behaviors through an attachment-based lens.
For individual adults, I provide support with academic and career stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and evolving family roles. Together, we create a warm, affirming space where clients can build resilience, gain clarity, and develop practical tools for meaningful change.

I work with couples navigating dating and relationship conflicts, premarital concerns, and the complex transitions that come with building a life together. This includes supporting partners as they prepare for long-term commitment, deepen their understanding of each other’s needs, and address patterns that may be creating tension or disconnection.
I also specialize in helping couples adjust to the transition into parenthood, a stage that often brings both meaning and strain to a relationship. Whether you are experiencing increased conflict, shifts in roles and identity, or feeling disconnected while managing the demands of parenting, I provide a supportive space to slow down, understand each other more clearly, and rebuild emotional connection.
I have completed Level 2 training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and I integrate these research-based interventions to help couples identify unhelpful communication cycles, navigate parenting-related stress, and build stronger foundations of trust, respect, and friendship. My goal is to support you in developing more secure, responsive ways of relating so that both partners feel heard, supported, and more connected—both as partners and as parents.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy creative projects, spending time in nature, and connecting with loved ones. I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they work toward healing, growth, and greater ease in their lives.
