Couples-Gottman Method
With over five decades of research, the Gottman method is the standard for science backed couples therapy. Utilizing Gottman Connect, we assess all our couples to better understand their strengths and challenges as a couple from each partner's perspective. When setting goals I collaborate with my couples to form a holistic treatment plan that best encompasses the facets of what makes relationships work, utilizing the Sound Relationship House. Practicing using the tools and skills is embedded in the work I do with couples.
Pre-Marital
Attachment & Relational Issues
Attachment science has helped us better understand the importance of the ways in which we connect with ourselves and others. Attachment based therapy helps to improve unhealthy and insecure forms of attachment, through developing healthy attachment patterns based on trust and intimacy. As a person centered therapist I value working with individuals and couples using this modality as they seek connection and wellness in their relationships.
Bio
I approach therapy from a holistic and integrative lens, honoring the complexity of each individual and relationship I work with. I believe our present experiences are deeply shaped by our past—by early attachment relationships, formative life events, and the stories we’ve come to believe about ourselves. My work gently helps clients connect these threads, fostering insight, self-compassion, and meaningful change.
As a Level 3 Gottman-trained therapist, I specialize in working with couples using research-based and evidence-driven models. I draw primarily from The Gottman Method, Attachment Theory, Relational Life Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy to help partners strengthen emotional connection, improve communication, repair trust, and navigate conflict with greater clarity and intention. My style is active and collaborative—I help couples move beyond surface-level disagreements to understand the deeper needs and longings underneath. Whether couples are seeking to rebuild after betrayal, navigate life transitions, or simply reconnect, I provide structure, warmth, and practical tools grounded in science.
In my work with individuals, I utilize strength-based and trauma-informed approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. I support clients in understanding the protective parts of themselves, challenging limiting beliefs, and rewriting internal narratives that no longer serve them. I believe symptoms often represent adaptive responses to earlier pain, and when met with curiosity rather than judgment, they become powerful gateways to growth and healing.
Across all of my work, my intention is to create a space that feels safe, grounded, and deeply respectful. I value authenticity and relational presence in the therapy room. Clients often describe our work together as both insightful and practical—balancing emotional depth with concrete tools for daily life.
Ultimately, my goal is to guide individuals and couples in building lives and relationships that feel aligned, intentional, and fulfilling. Therapy is not just about reducing distress; it is about expanding capacity—for connection, resilience, and meaningful change. I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they move toward the life they envision.
