Bio

I have a holistic approach in my work with clients. I focus on the relationship first, while gaining an understanding of each person as an entire person in their own unique environment. I use both attachment theory and systems theory when working with ages three all the way to adulthood, as I realize that our early attachments are impactful throughout our lives. I like to help people through their individualized therapy process in facing each unique stressor and providing them tools to reach their goals and engage with their other systems, whether it is family, school, work, etc.

Individuals and families are facing emerging challenges from the modern, fast-paced and information-saturated world. Technology and social media are frequently focal points of cyclic conflict. I help total family systems come together for collaboration on this issue.

When working with youth, I counsel both children/adolescents and include their family in creating a strategy to enable them to reach their goals through varied interventions based on the unique needs of each individual, as well as their family system. I have a unique skill set I bring to the therapeutic setting, having spent time in community mental health and the school system working with both individuals and entire families.
